Katy Sutherland

Katy is a member of our Safety, Electrical, Lifting and Bracing (SELAB) team, responsible for inspecting and maintaining the company’s lifting and bracing, work at height and electrical equipment to ensure quality, safety and compliance.

Though new to the live events industry, she brings a strong technical and detail-driven approach to quality and safety from her background in Biomedical Science and Data Analytics. She has also obtained her Lifting Accessories Diploma from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and has recently been awarded Membership of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).

By monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages and ensuring the correct equipment is available, compliant and prepared for each project, she upholds the high standard of service expected by Star Live’s clients.
