Parklife 2025.
Brief
Star Live was appointed by The Warehouse Project to design-engineer and build staging and support structures for Parklife 2025, that could handle both the high production values of a major dance arena and the immersive demands of an outdoor stage environment. With rapid build schedules and a need for sustainable, robust infrastructure, the promoter sought a partner able to deliver both technically and creatively at scale.
Challenge
Delivering large-scale infrastructure in the heart of Manchester, at Heaton Park, presented tight build schedules and complex logistics, requiring solutions that balanced speed of delivery with resilience and sustainability.
Our solution
Inside the Hangar Arena, Star Live deployed its Ultra truss stage system, tailored to frame expansive video screens and showcase headline dance artists. Surrounding the stage, seven additional Ultra towers were linked with spans of Mega Truss, draped in lighting, to create an enveloping environment for artists and audiences alike.
At the Magic Sky Stage, Star Live’s flagship VerTech system provided the backbone. Designed for festival use, VerTech is engineered for durability, speed of assembly and sustainability, making it ideally suited to Parklife’s demanding schedule. The system was complemented by the Orbit stage structure, which allowed bespoke scenic and technical features to be integrated into the build, enhancing the audience experience and giving the stage a distinctive identity.
Front of House structures were delivered across both arenas, ensuring operational teams could manage the production seamlessly throughout the weekend.
Impact
Star Live’s combination of Ultra, VerTech and Orbit systems delivered the scale and technical reliability needed to match Parklife’s creative ambition. The staging not only supported the artistic vision of the event but also provided safe, efficient and sustainable infrastructure for The Warehouse Project.
