Download XXIII 🤘 Three unforgettable days of live music.
Download Festival XXIII marked the first major deployment of Star Live’s Titan stage system as part of a new partnership with Live Nation.
At the heart of the Main Arena stood the festival’s new main stage, designed and constructed using Titan – Star Live’s next-generation staging system and now the UK’s largest festival stage.
Engineered for the demands of today’s most ambitious productions, Titan delivers exceptional roof loading capacity, advanced wind management technology, enhanced access throughout the structure for safer and more efficient working at height, and Star Live’s smART lifting system, helping production teams work faster, safer and more effectively.
Supporting the arena were four new 25m Titan SQ AV towers, providing structural support for Download’s iconic cylindrical video screens, audience lighting and audio delay systems. V-Tower delay positions, FOH structures, camera platforms and viewing facilities completed the infrastructure package, creating a world-class production environment for artists, crews and fans alike.
“ Events on the scale of Download Festival demand partners with the expertise, capability and commitment to deliver at the highest level. The successful delivery of this year’s Main Arena marks an exciting start to our new partnership with Star Live, and we’re looking forward to working together on projects in the years ahead.”
Andy Grey, Production Director, Far and Beyond.
From first arrival on site to the final headline performance, this project showcased not only the scale and capability of Titan, but what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional live experiences.
A huge thank you to the Download Festival and Live Nation teams for their trust and partnership. We look forward to building on this success over the coming years.
