Some projects become part of your story 🎾
For the Star Live team, Wimbledon is one of those projects.
While the finished venue may look familiar each summer, every installation is the result of months of planning and collaboration. From our teams in Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire to those on site at Wimbledon, hundreds of decisions are made long before the first ball is struck, ensuring everything is ready to the exacting standards The Championships demand.
Each April, our team returns to The All England Lawn Tennis Club and Roehampton to deliver the extensive temporary structures that support The Championships and the Wimbledon Qualifying Competition, creating the Southern Village and hospitality, retail and operational spaces that help the event come to life.
This year, Lorraine Scanes returned to Wimbledon as Project Director, having led the project since 2023. It’s one example of the experience and continuity that sits behind projects like this, with many of our team returning year after year to build on the knowledge, relationships and trust that help make each installation a success.
Our thanks go to everyone involved across planning, engineering, logistics, transport and site operations. The best event infrastructure is often the infrastructure no one notices, allowing the focus to remain exactly where it should be – on the athletes, the competition and the experience for every guest.
We wish The All England Lawn Tennis Club, its partners, competitors and visitors a fantastic fortnight of tennis.
