Mundo Pixar.

The brief

Luna Entertainment Group appointed Star Live to deliver the semi-permanent venue for Mundo Pixar Experience London, an immersive exhibition inviting visitors to step inside life-sized environments inspired by some of Pixar’s most recognisable stories.

Located on a meanwhile site off Fulton Road in Wembley Park, the structure houses what has been described as the world’s largest Pixar exhibition.

The challenge

The venue needed to support a large-scale walk-through exhibition within a temporary structure in Wembley Park, London.

It required significant uninterrupted internal space for exhibition environments while accommodating visitor circulation, technical infrastructure and guest facilities. The project was delivered to a tight programme to meet the exhibition’s opening schedule.

Our solution

Star Live delivered a full design and build solution, transforming the meanwhile site into a dedicated exhibition venue.

At 40m x 90m, the structure provides more than 3,500 sqm of clear internal space for immersive installations and visitor circulation. At its highest point, it reaches 10.9 metres of uninterrupted internal height, allowing for large-scale scenic environments.

Delivered on a 45-day programme, the project involved coordinated steel assembly, major crane lifts and continuous on-site activity to maintain progress. The completed venue includes integrated HVAC and full visitor facilities, ensuring the environment is safe, compliant and comfortable for visitors.

Impact

The completed structure now houses Mundo Pixar Experience London, providing a dedicated venue for the immersive exhibition, which will welcome visitors until late 2026.

The project demonstrates Star Live’s ability to deliver large-scale modular architecture on tight programmes for complex immersive exhibitions.
