Roger is an acknowledged specialist in the design and provision of temporary structures, large-scale overlay and venue rigging, including the legacy conversion of venues built for the Beijing and London Olympics.
A Chartered Engineer specialising in event structures, he is a full Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology and a Technician member of the Institution of Structural Engineers. As a Specialist Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Event Management, Roger regularly consults for major sports grounds including Principality Stadium in Cardiff and the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.
He is a Visiting Expert panel member for CROSS-UK (Collaborative Reporting On Structural Safety) and a past Chairman of the Advisory Group on Temporary Structures.
Roger has particular specialities in the design and installation of structural grid systems for venues, any type of outdoor temporary structure and marine engineering for events built under, in or on water.
