The Lavender Wall, Joy Awards 2025.

In January 2025, Done+Dusted appointed Star Live to deliver a showpiece structure for the Joy Awards in Riyadh. Now recognised as the Middle East’s most prominent celebration of film, television and music, the event brought together regional and international stars for a night of performance and recognition.

The brief was to create a striking centrepiece that would elevate the arrival and ceremony experience, combining scale with technical precision. Done+Dusted required a solution that could act both as a dramatic performance environment and as the backdrop to the Lavender Carpet, where the world’s media captured the celebrity arrivals.

Star Live responded with the Lavender Wall, a bespoke vertical stage standing 18 metres high, 16 metres wide and 12 metres deep. Designed to accommodate 64 dancers across multiple levels, the structure combined presence with functionality. The build incorporated all scenic elements, engineered and delivered to meet exacting creative requirements while ensuring safety and performance standards.

The result was a stage that became a defining visual of the Joy Awards 2025. Seamlessly integrated into the event, the Lavender Wall provided an unforgettable moment for performers, guests and global audiences. For Done+Dusted, the project demonstrated how creative ambition could be realised through collaboration, technical expertise and precise execution.
