Birmingham 2022.
Star Live was honoured to provide bespoke staging to the Closing Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022. Whilst the project was complex, from the research, planning and designing to the eventual installation in one overnight shift, the Star Live stage put on a show to close out the Commonwealth Games.
Wondrous Stories kicked off a six month celebration surrounding the games, where Star Live provided the main stage and projection support screen structures with integrated truss systems to facilitate the performer fly routines and aerial performances.
Alongside the Ceremonies, Star Live were also on site at the Smithfield Fan Zone, where our design, operations, and on-site delivery teams helped to deliver the visual support.
