King’s Coronation Concert.

In a historic event, Star Live took centre stage in building the grand platform for the King's Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle.

The Bank Holiday Weekend marked Britain's largest-ever stage being seen by over 10 million global viewers, a momentous project undertaken by BBC Studios for the Coronation celebrations.

The colossal stage, measuring an impressive 95 meters wide, proudly displayed a giant Union Jack adorned with a crown-shaped roof, exuding a sense of patriotism fit for the occasion. With a sprawling surface area of 960m2, this monumental platform overshadows stages used in iconic historic events like Live Aid and the Jubilee Celebrations.

Claire Popplewell, the creative director of BBC Studios, expressed her excitement about the super-structure, hoping that His Majesty would appreciate the awe-inspiring stage set right in his own backyard.

In addition to the mammoth stage, Star Live also took on the responsibility of building the grandstand seats and the prestigious Royal Box, ensuring a regal and unforgettable experience for all attendees.

The King's Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle was a testament to Star Live's expertise in executing grand-scale projects, leaving a lasting legacy in the realm of live entertainment and solidifying their reputation as a reliable partner in bringing historic events to life.
